Lovely home on half-acre forest with spectacular mountain views - dog-friendly

This was a wonderful stay at the property. We stayed for 2 weeks. The view is breathtaking, and the drive is pretty intense, but we had no issues with my Ford Expedition. I worked while I was there, so Wi-Fi was fine; we were able to watch our shows. It's 8 minutes to Goldman and Sons Grocery Store and Gregory Lake. We thought the whole trip was really nice. A few notes: there are creatures. We had an encounter with a bear, not necessarily face to face, but we were on the balcony and he was by the apple tree. We also saw some foxes. The place was clean but there were lots of little ants in the kitchen. One major issue for us was there is no dresser or enough areas for clothing storage. All in all we would definitely do it again

The house was absolutely perfect and gorgeous! The view is breathtaking!Our host, Dean, from vacasa was so great to deal with again! They literally thought of everything. Plenty of everything for our entire stay. We stay in Crestline once or twice a year and the cabin/ home is by far our favorite! Well definitely be back!

This home in Crestline was wonderful. It was clean and very comfortable with an incredible view that we enjoyed especially at night. It is a perfect home for families to gather and spend quality time. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Everything was super easy from start to finish. We definitely plan to return to this home in future years.

The views from this home are amazing! We could see both the sunrise and sunset from the view windows. We could see Catalina when the sky was clear. Can't say enough about how beautiful it was! We enjoyed shopping in the little stores in town. There is a neighborhood market in town which had everything we needed, including firewood for the fireplace. The host was responsive and helpful; their communication was timely and they responded immediately to our question. Highly recommended!

The place was very clean and well maintained. The view is amazing. It is close to many things in the Arrowhead/Crestline area, all easy to get to while still tucked away. I agree with others who have said it's almost a bad idea to spoil the secret!

We would 1000% stay here again! I planned a little friends get away to celebrate my partners birthday and this house surpassed our expectations. The view was amazing, the house had everything we needed (coffee grinder, blender, cooking things, etc), our dog was welcome, and check in/out was a breeze! We also loved how there was multiple places to gather and the porch over looking the view was our favorite. Looking forward to our next trip.

This was by far the best rental I've stayed at on the mountain. The instructions for unlocking and locking the door were clear and easy to follow. The home itself is beautifully decorated and clean with a comfortable yet chic vibe. The TV in the main area is perfectly sized for the room and adjustable. The view is absolutely stunning by day and night in all but 1 room. The main room is open to the upstairs with a stone fireplace hiding the stairs to the upper floor. The kitchen, though slightly dated, has all of all the pots, pan, utensils that we needed including some gallon disposable bags for leftovers. The bathrooms were fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers in the showers. The bedrooms were good sized and the beds comfortable. There is a welcome binder with detailed descriptions of all there is to do in Crestline and the surrounding areas including recommendations to local restaurants. We didn't use it but there is a downstairs studio apartment with a massive TV on the basement level that includes a full bath and kitchen that also has a view. I really don't have anything negative to say about this place. We will definitely rent it again.

The home was big and beautiful inside and out. Having the primary bedroom on the main floor was very convenient. Only downfall was the cleaning fee. I feel like the house could have been cleaner for the high fee.

We've been going up to Big Bear, Arrowhead and Crestline for many years and this is one of the best houses we've stayed in. For once, the pictures don't honor how beautiful the house is. The place is spacious, nicely decorated, clean, private (no nearby neighbors!), the view from the balcony is truly stunning and the booking, checking-in and checking out process was a breeze. Highly, highly recommended!

I adored every aspect of it, both the external and internal areas. I particularly enjoyed how, on the front side of the house, one could relish the sight of nature, with its majestic tall trees, while at the back, a breathtaking million dollar view awaited. Beautiful property with breathtaking views. Loved the house even if it didn’t have views. MBR on main floor, great in-law suite in basement and two more B/R upstairs. The only issue we had was the electricity went off on Saturday and was not back on by 1:30 on Sunday, so we left a day early. (Sunday was our last full day at the house). No fault of homeowners. Would recommend.

This home was fantastic! Beautifully decorated with all the amenities. The view more than lives up to the listing title, and is enjoyed from inside and especially on the outside wrap-around patio. Vacasa support was readily available to assist us with any questions/issues we had. We were a group of 6 gals celebrating a milestone birthday, and this place went above our expectations!

We enjoyed our stay in this bright and spacious house. Location was perfect for us as it was quiet with a great view. Would recommend arriving for the first time during daylight hours. The road is twisty and the way difficult to find if you haven’t seen it before. Thank you for a great stay!

The Spanish decor through out the house was beautiful. The cabin was as advertised. We enjoyed the game boards and the big screen TVs. Vacasa responded promptly to a minor issue we had with the fridge. I would suggest more pits and pans.

As we walk in the home we were so happy to see how clean and beautiful it was. The whole house had a very good clean smell, the kitchen had just about everything we needed for our big Christmas dinners. The beds were super comfortable, and the best pillows. The view is the best ever. I can honestly say that this was one of the best stays we have been to in a while. We had our 2 grand children and my 4 adult kids, and we had plenty of room for everyone. Good quality furniture, and plenty of blankets. Beauti

This place was amazing! The view is breathtaking. I’ve never stayed anywhere quite like it. I loved the tall ceilings, the iron railing, the massive fireplace, multiple large smart TV’s, the spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage, the fully stocked kitchen/coffee station, and the comfy couches. The location was great as well, as we were surrounded with nature but still had access to shops nearby. 5 stars ?

The top of the mountain, literally! The view is spectacular during the day and especially at night. This place is surely a hidden gem. The house is gorgeous and has everything++ you need inside to have a great stay, you will love it! We will be booking this home again! ;-) cheers!
